Why Study?
At DMA, we are proud to offer two Level 3 qualifications in Sport: the Extended Certificate, which is equivalent to one A Level, and the Diploma, which is equivalent to two A Levels. These pathways give learners the flexibility to choose a programme that best suits their goals and future aspirations.
The Level 3 OCR Cambridge Technical Sport courses are not just about being able to play sport, it will provide learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding to progress into Higher Education on a sport-related programme such as Sport and Physical Education, Sport Science, Sport Coaching and Development or Sport and Leisure Management.
What can I do with the Level 3 Extended Certificate?
The Level 3 Cambridge Technical Sport course provides a comprehensive foundation for students aspiring to pursue careers in the sports industry or further their education. Graduates of this program can explore various pathways, including:
- Higher education opportunities such as university degrees in sports science, physical education, sports coaching, sports management, and physiotherapy.

Subject combinations
PE compliments any subject but it has particular relevance to: Physics, Biology, History, Psychology, Sociology, and Health and Social Care.

Do I need to be playing sport regularly?
The Extended Certificate does not include assessment in a practical sporting activity, making it a great option for learners who prefer a more theory-focused route.
