Cambridge Technical Sport and Physical Activity

We have an exciting opportunity at Athena from September 2022. Our Cambridge Technical course will be delivered in partnership with Norwich City Football Club. The academic course will be run alongside a football academy programme. The aim of the course is to deliver a pathway where like-minded, talented local footballers can maximise their personal progression both on and off the pitch.

What can I do with it?

Students wishing to develop a career in the leisure industry, sports centre management or coaching will find this Level 3 Cambridge Technicals course a beneficial foundation.  The Cambridge Technical provides a strong base for progression to university, apprenticeships or work and are recognised for UCAS tariff points.

Alongside the academic progression, the Football programme offers a rich array of future prospects. Previous candidates have gone on to sign professional football contracts. Others have forged careers in the sports science domain.
